Started my pepper and tomato seeds today. Placed them in the greenhouse on heating mats.

I usually start mine around Valentines Day. Good luck with yours.

I'm going to start most of my seeds by the end of the month. Need to pressure wash the greenhouse first.

I've never tried heating mats before.....actually I've never heard of them. In the past I've usually started my seeds in the spare room and cranked up the heat for a week or so.

The heating mats give you a jump start in germinating the seeds. As I just learned though, if you don't put the plastic lid on the seed flat, even though they are in a greenhouse, the cooler weather just claimed a few of my pepper seedlings.

Always learning something new! Usually start my seeds indoors, in January. But we have cats, and they will eat anything green. lol! I'm in the process of moving, so we will probably get a late start on gardening this year.
