You can make fly traps with empty soda bottles. Add a tablespoon of honey or sugar, and a little water and some dish soap. (Beer works for wasp and bees) Make small slits big enough for the flies to get in, but not out. Keep the cap in and hang these around your yard, and near your windows and doors.

Mosquioto's don't like the scent of lemons. The lemon ammonia and lemon dish detergent mixture will help keep them away and also using a dryer sheet and tucking it in the top of your pants will help too. THe lenon ammonia and lemon dish liquid will also fertilize your plants and keepharmful pests from eating your plants.

Banana peels are a wonderful nitrogen rich fertilizer for your plants. Want a bigger crop of tomatoes, or roses , place the peels near the base of your plants. They will thank you for it.
