BAMBOO POLES (CLICK HERE)

I found a youtube channel the other day, and I absolutely fell in love with this couples garden. I really loved the way they use bamboo poles to support their tomato plants. So I set out on a search to find some, and as you know bamboo can be expensive. I found a place yesterday out fo California that has some reasonably priced bamboo and the shipping is free for most orders.

You can click the link above to check them out. They are very helpful as well. The company is called Bamboo Thatch Etc....

Check em out if your looking for bamboo stakes for your garden. Check out the youtube channel I am referring too, I know you will enjoy their channel too..

That's a great link to have. We have bamboo growing in our backyard. Will miss it when we move. We made Teepee Trail-is for our beans with the longer poles. Used the shorter poles to stake other plants. Bamboo is very sturdy and easy to grow. If you decide to grow it, be aware it spreads quickly.

Yep, I heard that years ago. I was watching a court show where a man was suing the home inspector for not saying anything about the bamboo that was growing so close to the house. It had started growing under the foundation of the house and was messing up the foundation. Ever since then I told myself I would never grow it, LOL!

Ours actually came up from a neighbor's yard. It is all the way in the back of the yard, and we watch how far it creeps up each year. We've done a lot of digging, to keep it from spreading too far! lol. It roots and and sends new shoots up, from underground. If I plant it again, I will do so in buckets, to help keep it from spreading.

The roots don't go too deep, thankfully!
