Hi from Southern Oregon

My husband and I live in southern Oregon.
We are tired of paying for food that is not
healthy to eat. We put in a raised garden because
our dirt is full of rocks. We have had a garden
now for about 3 years. It still is trial and error
however. My goal was to can, dehydrate or
freeze everything and have no waste. Its been
fun and a lot of work. It sure tastes
good in the winter months.
This will be a great website for information
on which seeds, plants or greenhouses work
the best. Looking forward to see all kinds of
information.

Sounds like we are on the same page. This is my second year growing a garden. My husband and I were also tried of paying for food that, frankly, we don't know what is being done to it before it hits the store shelves. GMO seeds have invaded and the prices are just skyrocketing.
Growing food is so rewarding.

Welcome to our little corner of the garden! I can understand the rocks and wanting to eat healthier! lol. I live in W. Tn and we have rocky soil here too. Broke my back for many years, just removing rocks. Can't wait to get to know you.
